A+ Staffing is recruiting experienced Transport Managers to support transportation and mobility operations for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in Kansas City. This leadership role will oversee venue transportation, VIP/client group transportation, shuttle operations, parking logistics, and operational coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and seamless transportation services throughout tournament activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale event operations, transportation logistics, or venue operations while leading teams in fast-moving event environments. This role requires strong operational leadership, and the ability to manage live transportation activities across venues, transport hubs, and VIP movement operations.
This is a seven-week position that requires a flexible schedule with extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, match days, and tournament operational periods based on the FIFA event schedule. Candidates must have open availability starting May 28 – July 13. Compensation is $1,525 per week, paid weekly
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transportation Operations Management
- Oversee daily transportation operations including venue transport, shuttle services, VIP/client transportation, parking operations, and transport routing.
- Support implementation of transportation operational plans and real-time event transportation activities.
- Coordinate transportation schedules, vehicle deployment, loading/unloading operations, and passenger movement.
VIP & Client Group Coordination
- Manage transportation services for VIPs, sponsors, officials, media, premium guests, and other client groups.
- Coordinate with security teams, venue operations, fleet providers, and operational leadership to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
- Support route planning, scheduling, and contingency coordination for priority transportation services.
Leadership & Team Supervision
- Supervise transportation coordinators, dispatchers, drivers, supervisors, and operational field teams.
- Support staff scheduling, training, briefings, and operational readiness activities.
- Promote professionalism, accountability, and customer service excellence throughout operations.
Stakeholder & Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with transportation agencies, security personnel, venue teams, city agencies, and operational partners.
- Participate in operational meetings, reporting, and transport coordination activities.
- Maintain clear communication with leadership teams and operational stakeholders.
Incident Management & Reporting
- Respond to operational issues, delays, service disruptions, or transportation incidents in real time.
- Implement contingency plans and support operational problem-solving throughout tournament operations.
- Maintain operational logs, reports, and performance updates.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in transportation operations, event logistics, venue operations, VIP services, or related leadership roles.
- Experience supporting large-scale live events, sporting events, festivals, or transportation programs preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and operational coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience leading teams and coordinating operational staff.
- Familiarity with transportation logistics, traffic operations, passenger movement, and customer service operations. .
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, match days, and tournament operational periods. (Extended hours will be required throughout FIFA tournament operations).
