A+ Staffing is hiring reliable, enthusiastic event staff for the Bandai Card Games Fest in Las Vegas from February 12-16. The event features card game tournaments, activities, and more for titles such as Digimon, One Piece, Union Arena, Gundam and Dragonball. Staff must be tech savvy, proficient with taking payments using square, and able to process large volumes of people quickly and efficiently while offering excellent customer service. DATES/TIMES: Thursday, February 12 – Sunday, February 15 (Shift times vary) AVAILABLE POSITIONS: REGISTRATION: Staff may be placed at general registration or registration for any of the Card Game Tournaments or events. Registration staff may check in attendees, assist with line control, hand out bags or wristbands, or other tasks as assigned. Registration staff must attend training on Thursday, February 12 and must be able to work on Friday and Saturday. Some registration staff will work on Sunday. RETAIL: Staff will set up the retail store, sell cards and merchandise to event attendees, run cash registers, restock items and other tasks as assigned. This role will require tech savvy, fast and accurate cashiers who can process high volumes of transactions throughout the event. We will also be hiring product runners to unload pallets, move boxes, unbox merchandise and other labor tasks. Retail staff must be available for set up and training on Thursday, February 12. Some staff will be needed to break down the retail store on Monday, February 16. GENERAL EVENT STAFF: Staff will be assigned to one of many activations at the event. Duties vary widely but may include line control, badge checking, prize wall, scavenger hunt and more. Staff should be prepared for large crowds and long periods of standing on your feet. This is the only position where you can work Saturday and Sunday only. PLEASE NOTE - Retail and Registration staff are required to work all shifts to be considered. LOCATION: Las Vegas Convention Center - 3150 Paradise Rd Las Vegas, NV, USA ATTIRE: Black pants, black polo style or button-down shirt, closed toed comfortable shoes.
