Dandadan is one of the most explosive anime launches in North America right now — and we are looking for someone who is already a fan to help us bring it to life at Fan Expo Chicago. About the Role This is a three-day, on-site Brand Ambassador role supporting the Dandadan North America activation at Fan Expo Chicago 2026. You will be the fan-facing presence at the Turbo Granny Air Balloon display — one of the most eye-catching setups on the show floor — managing the photo opportunity queue, engaging attendees, and helping spread the word about the upcoming Dandadan Season 3 release in 2027. You will be working directly alongside the Activate Entertainment production team and the MBS client team. This is a high-visibility role at a major anime convention and a chance to represent a property you genuinely care about. What You’ll Do • Manage the photo opportunity queue at the Turbo Granny Air Balloon display, keeping the line moving efficiently and the experience fun for every fan • Engage attendees with enthusiasm — share your knowledge of the Dandadan IP, answer fan questions about the series, and build excitement for Season 3 coming in 2027 • Assist fans with photo setups and positioning alongside the inflatable to ensure every shot looks great • Help maintain the booth area throughout the day — keeping the space tidy, organized, and guest-ready • Be a warm, welcoming presence that reflects the energy and spirit of the Dandadan brand • Coordinate with the on-site Activate team and Project Manager throughout each show day What We’re Looking For Required: • Genuine familiarity with Dandadan — you have watched the anime and/or read the manga. This is not a role where you’ll be learning the IP from a fact sheet; fans will ask questions and your enthusiasm needs to be real • Experience at anime conventions, fan expos, or similar fan events — as an attendee, volunteer, or staff member • Comfortable on your feet for a full show day in a high-energy convention environment • Confident, outgoing communicator who genuinely enjoys interacting with people • Reliable and professional — you show up on time, in good spirits, and ready to work Preferred: • Previous brand ambassador, promotional, or event staffing experience • Experience managing photo opportunities, fan queues, or interactive activations at conventions • Cosplay experience or familiarity with the fan photography world is a plus • Bilingual (English / Japanese) is a bonus but not required
