Southern, OR!! Ongoing Events: Power Outage Relief! Friendly Staff Needed for Help During Difficult Times! PAID TRAVEL!!! Various roles. 7/10 - Ongoing - THIS FALL!!! All Aces is staffing an ongoing Power Outage/Wildfire Relief Program across Northern California, Southern Oregon, Hood River County, and parts of Washington. We’re looking for reliable, compassionate Staff to support Community Resource Centers (CRCs) when power outages occur. Shifts will come with 24–48 hours’ notice and vary by location. Though travel notices are somewhat last minute, we will make sure you're fully supported with Hotels, Travel Mileage or Airfare (depending on distances), and per diam food help. WE ARE CURRENTLY BUILDING A ROSTER OF INTERESTED CANDIDATES WHO MAY WANT TO GO HELP A GOOD CAUSE. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO COMMIT TO ALL ASSIGNMENTS OR LOCATIONS!!!! If you love helping people and want to be part of meaningful community work—we’d love to have you on the team! Relief centers are open 8 AM - 10 PM. The possible shifts will be: 7:30 AM - 3 PM 3 PM - 10 PM (subject to change based on # of staff needed). Staff will remain in the designated area/county for 2-4 days of the assignment, but will work their scheduled hours. $28/hour + mileage & travel ATTIRE: Unisex Branded (royal blue) T-shirts will be mailed to you prior to activation so they're ready to go if you get an assignment! Must look polished, but not dressy. Staff can wear black slacks, jeans (no holes or rips) or shorts (appropriate length), if preferred. TRAVEL AREAS WE ARE COVERING RELIEF FOR: (Locations are TBA based on power outages in the area, you'll be assigned based on availability and the outages that happen.) -Northern California (Siskiyou County & Del Norte County) -Southern Oregon (Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Douglas, & Coos Counties) -North-central Oregon (Hood River County) -Washington (Yakima & Walla Walla Counties) ROLE DUTIES ONCE ONSITE: -Greet residents and create a calm, helpful environment -Share info and direct people to resources (ice, water, charging stations) -Assist with simple tasks like helping distribute ice -Provide excellent customer service during a stressful time ALSO TO KNOW: -Paid virtual training provided (TBA date) -Branded t-shirt shipped to you -Travel assignments available based on location sent!!!! -Your PM will reach out when shifts become available, FLEXIBLE schedule! -Traveling will be required if you're not local.
