***OUTDOOR EVENT*** You will be assisting a well-known swimming pool company that will exhibit their pools at the Big E State Fair. You must be comfortable interacting with attendees and proactively talk about the pools with the aim of getting customer contact info for the clients to follow up with booking future appointments. You must be outgoing, and comfortable to be engaging with people. You must be comfortable working outdoors. You must be comfortable being on your feet for the entire shift since ideally you'll be walking around the pool display and interacting with people and actively trying to recruit interested parties. This is a "soft sales" role. Your goal is to spark interest and capture contact info for a later follow-up. IMPORTANT TO NOTE! YOU WILL BE PAID AS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR - 1099 🙂 YOU'LL BE PAID VIA ZELLE, VENMO OR PAYPAL ON THE FRIDAY THAT FOLLOWS AFTER YOU WORK DATES 🙂 As an ONSITE BACKUP, you're required to arrive no later than your start time which is 8:50am OR 3:20pm sharp! You're onsite for an hr or most times less than an hr. If everyone on the team shows up, then you are dismissed and paid a FLAT $50 FEE. (Please plan accordingly as it can get hot during the day and chilly at night so layers are best. You will have an area to store your belongings). Solid neutral color hat and sunglasses are allowed if needed. Please no graphic shirts. No visible tattoos or facial piercings.
