Sparky Mascot – Walmart Grand Opening Location: 455 E Wetmore Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705-1743 Pay: $50/hour Job Type: Temporary Event / Promotional Date: September 2, 2026 We’re looking for an energetic and outgoing Sparky Mascot to bring excitement and energy to a Walmart Grand Opening in Tucson! This is a fun opportunity for someone who enjoys entertaining, interacting with the public, and bringing a larger-than-life personality to an exciting community event. Available Shifts Shift 1: 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM Shift 2: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM Double shift: Candidates are welcome to work both shifts. What You'll Do Wear and perform as the Sparky mascot throughout the Walmart Grand Opening Interact with customers and families in a fun, friendly, and energetic way Pose for photos and help create excitement around the Grand Opening Walk and interact with guests while accompanied by a designated Handler Follow the Handler’s direction and event team instructions throughout the shift Mascot Requirements Height: Must be between 5'5" and 6'0" Costume fit: Must comfortably fit a Small–Large costume size Comfortable wearing a full mascot costume for extended periods Energetic, personable, and comfortable entertaining in a public setting Able to walk, stand, and interact with guests throughout the shift Reliable and punctual Important: The Sparky Mascot will be paired with a Handler who will walk with them and assist throughout the event. Previous mascot or promotional experience is a plus, but a great personality and high energy are what matter most! $50/hour | One or both shifts available | Fun Grand Opening Event!
