We’re seeking experienced, reliable, and energetic individuals for a seven-week field marketing program with a popular snack brand. Field Market Managers will lead activations, manage a branded van, coordinate sampling, oversee street teams, and supervise Brand Ambassadors. Brand Ambassadors will engage consumers, drive brand awareness through games and giveaways, and bring energy to events. PAY: Field Manager - $1,800 / Weekly BA - $30/hr **Paid as a W2 Employee DATES & LOCATIONS: * New York, NY: June - July DESCRIPTION: Our client is a brand that offers a wide range of snacks and creative solutions to meet and exceed customer's needs. Their fun and tasty products are innovative, exciting, and made with nature's goodness; proudly developed, produced, and delivered to consumers by a united community where we grow together by mutual respect and care. We’re launching a field marketing program in 5 markets across the US to boost brand awareness and drive sales through innovative, high-profile experiential events. BRAND AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Greet & engage with consumers * Educate consumers on the brand and product benefits * Operate and manage interactive games like Ring Toss with exciting prizes * Assist with event setup and breakdown each day * Spread brand awareness and drive product excitement through giveaways * Support activations including community events, street team outreach, and retailer sampling. BA REQUIREMENTS: * Must be 18+ * Strong communication skills and the ability to engage consumers * High energy, fun-loving, and adaptable * Comfortable standing or walking for long periods * Hardworking, independent, and self-motivated * Health-conscious and passionate about sustainability * Previous experience preferred FIELD MARKET MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES: >>>>MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE FULL DURATION OF THE PROGRAM IN THE LOCAL MARKET * Research, identify, evaluate, negotiate, secure, and execute marketing partnership and sampling opportunities across local events, festivals, venues and local businesses to create genuine and authentic connections with consumers * Supporting effective and breakthrough local marketing initiatives by securing on-brand, local sampling opportunities that help create and increase brand awareness and help drive sales back to retail * Works closely with agency to develop a comprehensive in-market field calendar for all sampling, partnership/product drops and events and ensure alignment on scheduling and local market initiative * Staffing, hiring, and managing a full team of Brand Ambassadors, including understanding program budget, scheduling day-to-day activations, program recaps, timesheet and expense approvals, etc * Training a team of part-time brand ambassadors by providing ongoing product training, brand guidelines for sampling, and ensuring all events are executed to the Brand standards * Managing and allocating local market budget with focus on Brand Ambassador hour tracking, local event budget, in-kind trade agreements, product orders, supplies, and events etc * Oversee event logistics such as pre-event preparations, set-up, execution, break-down and post-event analysis * Coordinate event and street sampling schedules and other local marketing partnerships * Gathering, tracking and sharing valuable retail/consumer feedback that contributes to innovation, quality control, and other important branding decisions * Manage all logistics including product inventory, assets, and supplies to support local events and initiatives * Take event photos and videos with a strong understanding of product placement and setting up the perfect photo op * Complete event recaps that are detailed and paint a picture of the event, feedback, and market REQUIREMENTS: * MUST have leadership experience and experience managing similar programs * Must have open availability throughout the work day/week to accomplish tasks related to the program, digitally or in person. * MUST have impeccable written and verbal communication skills including presentation and negotiation. * Knowledge and experience speaking with event organizers and negotiating sponsorship agreements with the ability to measure ROI * Ability to anticipate and solve logistical challenges before they occur. MUST be solution-oriented * Exhibit a high sense of urgency, be well organized, have a growth mindset, be a team player, and have the ability to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. * Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work within ambiguity * Experience hiring, training, and managing a full team of Brand Ambassadors, including understanding budget, scheduling daily activations, timesheet & expense approvals, etc. * Must be flexible in accomplishing program-related tasks and have the understanding that due to the nature of the FMM position, initial plans can potentially change or be adjusted throughout the workweek * MUST be comfortable driving a food truck, and managing van mileage, gas, and maintenance issues.
