Bonjerk is looking for an outgoing, energetic Event Brand Ambassador to introduce customers to our products at Renegade Seattle from November 20–22, 2026. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people, sharing great food, being a part of a growing brand, and creating excitement around a product. About Bonjerk is an Asian American pork company, founded in the Bay Area in 2021 by Anica Wu, a whole-animal butcher. Every flavor of jerky is developed from a specific dish: char siu from char siu bao, málà from mapo tofu, black garlic from zhajiangmian. The pork is humanely raised, from farms committed to strong animal welfare. Learn more at: https://bonjerk.com/ Role Overview Event Brand Ambassadors offer samples at events, run retail demos, and introduce customers to Bonjerk through engagement and storytelling to drive immediate sales. Location: Renegade Craft @ Hangar 30 @ Magnuson Park 6310 NE 74th St. Seattle, WA 98115 Schedule: Fri, Nov 20, 2026: Shift time (est): 4pm–8pm | Event Time: 5pm–8pm Sat, Nov 21, 2026: Shift time (est): 10:30am–5pm | Event Time: 11am–5pm Sun, Nov 22, 2026: Shift time (est): 10:30am–6pm | Event Time: 11am– 5pm Compensation: $22/hour + tips (and plenty of jerky snacking!) Travel: Event Brand Ambassadors are responsible for transportation to and from event location. Responsibilities -Set up and tear down booth/sampling station -Keep display areas clean, well-stocked, and organized during shifts. Make sure the booth/sampling station is organized, welcoming, and consistent with Bonjerk’s brand -Prepare and offer samples to attendees, adhering to safe sanitary practices and health code regulations -Actively engage customers to taste the product, and walk them through each flavor’s dish story and flavor profile. Share simple ways they can use Bonjerk at home -Represent Bonjerk to promote brand story, answer product and business questions, and effectively drive sales -Handle cash and Square POS system, ensuring accurate inventory count The ideal candidate is: -A strong verbal communicator -Friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming -Comfortable actively approaching and inviting customers to engage with the booth/sampling station -Reliable and punctual -Communicative regarding schedule updates and changes -Comfortable in high-energy event environments Requirements -English language fluency -Ability to stand for 4+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs -Must be 18+ -Has access to reliable transportation Nice to Haves -Previous brand ambassador, events, retail, hospitality, sales, or other people/customer-facing experience -Driver’s license -Car that is capable of transporting larger, bulky event gear, like tents, tent weights, display racks, -supply boxes, folding tables, etc.
