Gig Overview: We’re looking for a reliable, motivated, and highly organized Team Lead to help oversee our hydration street team during the Austin City Limits (ACL) activation. This role is absolutely essential to the success of the program, you’ll not only be responsible for logistics and product management, but also for leading and supporting our team of Brand Ambassadors as they bring the brand to life outside of ACL. As the Team Lead for this ACL activation, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the program’s success by managing both logistics and the street team. You’ll be responsible for renting and driving a U-Haul, picking up product from the client’s downtown Austin office, transporting and setting up a nearby “HQ” for restocking, and overseeing a team of Brand Ambassadors throughout the activation. During live days, you’ll make sure staff are fully stocked, motivated, and hitting daily distribution goals, while troubleshooting any challenges that arise. At the end of each weekend, you’ll return unused product to the client’s office and the U-Haul, closing out operations smoothly before repeating the process the following weekend. Event Location: Near Zilker Park Event Address: TBD Dates & Times: October 3, TBD 4 hour shift (Uhaul Pickup & Product Pickup) October 4, 10:00AM - 5:30PM October 5, 10:00AM - 7:30PM October 10, TBD 4 hour shift (Uhaul Pickup & Product Pickup) October 11, 10:00AM - 5:30PM October 12, 10:00AM - 7:30PM Pay: $35.00/hr Key Responsibilities: Logistics Management: Rent a U-Haul (fully reimbursed) and pick up product from our client’s downtown Austin office before each activation weekend. Safely load the U-Haul with product and deliver it to a secure, convenient location near Zilker Park to serve as the team’s “HQ.” Team Oversight: Lead, motivate, and support a team of Brand Ambassadors during live activation days, ensuring they are energized, on task, and representing the brand with enthusiasm. Product Distribution: Keep the team well-stocked by managing product inventory from the HQ vehicle and ensuring staff have what they need in the field at all times. Goal Achievement: Track sampling numbers daily, encourage the team to meet and exceed distribution quotas, and troubleshoot any challenges on the ground to maximize success. Wrap-Up Duties: After the final day of each weekend, return any unused product back to the client’s downtown office and return the U-Haul. Repeat this process for both activation weekends. Point of Contact: Act as the main on-site liaison between the client, the staff, and the production team, ensuring smooth communication and operations. What We’re Looking For: Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to keep a team motivated and on track. Comfortable managing logistics, driving a U-Haul, and handling product distribution. A proactive problem-solver who can think quickly and troubleshoot on the spot. Reliable, professional, and committed to making this program a success from start to finish. Previous experience as a team lead, event manager, or similar role is a major plus.
