Gig Overview: Uber One is heading to college campuses nationwide to spotlight its discounted membership built just for students, and we're booking an experienced, confident Team Lead to run the University of Alabama stop. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can rally a team, keep the energy high, and make sure every student who walks by leaves knowing about the deal. The Team Lead will act as both a hands on Brand Ambassador and the on site leader for the activation. You'll check the team in, step into any position as needed to keep full coverage, and serve as the client's direct point of contact from open to close. This opportunity requires strong communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot on the fly, and the confidence to keep a fast paced campus activation running smoothly. Event Location: University of Alabama Event Address: TBD Dates and Times: Training, Date and Time TBD November 16, TBD (7 hour shift) November 17, TBD (7 hour shift) Pay: $30.00/hr Parking: Up to $30.00 per day with proof of receipt Team Lead Scope Team Leadership and Coordination You'll check in all Brand Ambassadors upon arrival, confirm the full team is present and ready to go, and break them appropriately throughout the shift. You'll step into any Brand Ambassador position as needed to ensure every part of the footprint stays covered. Client and On Site Communication You'll serve as the direct point of contact for the client, communicating updates and needs clearly and professionally. You'll troubleshoot issues as they come up, resolving smaller items independently and escalating anything major so the activation stays on track. Activation Oversight You'll keep the footprint running smoothly for the full shift, making sure the team stays engaged, professional, and focused on driving sign ups. You'll monitor traffic flow and student engagement to help the team make the most of every conversation. Brand Ambassador Duties In addition to your leadership scope, you'll drive traffic to the Uber One footprint, educate students on Uber One and the student discount, encourage sign ups, answer questions, and help distribute swag and giveaway items throughout the activation.
