Gig Overview Madewell is arriving in Bend, and Brand Besties is booking two Brand Ambassadors to help make the grand opening everything it should be. This is a milestone moment for a beloved denim and lifestyle brand, and we are looking for contractors who bring genuine energy, warmth, and professionalism to every interaction. We have two openings for this activation, each with a different schedule and scope. One is a guest-facing ambassador role for the afternoon hours, and the other is a full-day opportunity that includes hands-on pre-opening setup support before transitioning into brand ambassador duties. Both contractors will play a meaningful role in making this launch a success. Read the details below and indicate which opening you are applying for when you reach out. Event Location: Madewell Bend Event Address: 520 SW Powerhouse Dr #608, Bend, OR 97702 Openings and Schedules Opening 1 | Brand Ambassador July 11, 11:00AM to 4:00PM This opening is a guest-facing brand ambassador role for the afternoon. You will arrive as doors open and focus on welcoming guests, creating a high-energy environment, and representing the Madewell brand with enthusiasm throughout your schedule. Opening 2 | Brand Ambassador with Setup Support July 11, 8:30AM to 5:00PM This is a full-day opportunity that begins before the store opens. You will arrive at 8:30AM to assist with pre-opening preparation including setting up signage, unpacking and organizing purchased merchandise and event materials, and ensuring the space is polished and guest-ready. Once doors open, you will transition into full brand ambassador mode for the remainder of the day. Pay: $32.00/hr (both openings) Parking: Up to $30.00 reimbursed per contractor Gig Scope All Brand Ambassadors on this activation will be responsible for greeting guests warmly as they arrive, driving excitement around the new store, and creating an inviting, high-energy atmosphere that reflects the Madewell brand. You will engage shoppers in genuine conversation, help them feel at home in the new space, and work closely with the on-site team throughout your schedule to keep things running smoothly. Contractors booked for Opening 2 will additionally support pre-opening setup tasks prior to the guest-facing portion of their day, including placing signage, unpacking event and purchase items, and coordinating with the Madewell team to ensure everything is in place before doors open.
