Gig Overview: We’re looking for 2 energetic, professional, and personable staff members to join the Disney team at the UNC vs Clemson football game for a one-of-a-kind VIP tailgating experience. This is not your average game day gig, you’ll be part of creating a seamless, elevated experience for VIP guests as they enjoy pregame festivities and the electric atmosphere of college football at its finest. As part of the Disney Tailgate Staff, you’ll serve as the friendly, high-energy hosts who help guide and escort VIP guests throughout their game day journey. At this event, our staff will serve as the face of Disney’s VIP tailgate experience by escorting and guiding guests between designated pick-up spots, the tailgate area, and the stadium. Acting as walking chauffeurs, they will hold wayfinding signs to identify themselves as Disney Tailgate Staff and ensure that guests move seamlessly and comfortably from one location to the next. Staff will provide top-tier, concierge-style service by answering questions, assisting with directions, and creating a smooth, enjoyable experience for every guest. During downtime, when guests do not need to be escorted, staff will return to the Disney tailgate area and remain attentive until called upon again. Throughout the entire event, they are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, energy, and friendliness, staying engaged, approachable, and off their phones in front of guests and clients to deliver the elevated Disney-standard experience. Event Location: Belltower Tailgating Area on UNC Campus Event Address: TBD Dates & Times: Virtual Training, TBD 30 Minutes October 4, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Pay: $35.00/hr Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Escorting VIP guests from pick-up spots to the Disney tailgate area and to the game itself. Acting as a resource for guests – answering questions, providing directions, and ensuring their experience is stress-free. Offering top-tier service with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuinely friendly attitude. Remaining attentive and available at all times, meeting back at the Disney tailgate area during downtime until needed again. Maintaining a polished, professional demeanor (this means staying off your phone while on duty and keeping energy levels high throughout the shift). Collaborating with the on-site Disney client team to ensure every guest feels cared for and valued. What We’re Looking For: Outgoing, personable, and approachable individuals who love engaging with people. Professional and polished in both appearance and behavior. Ability to maintain high energy, a positive attitude, and attentiveness for the entire shift. Quick on your feet and able to adapt to guest needs or changes in flow. Strong communication skills and a naturally helpful spirit.
