Job Overview: The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is launching its "Drive Sober. No Regrets." FACES campaign—a statewide initiative aimed at encouraging responsible celebrations during the July 4th holiday season. This activation emphasizes sober driving through interactive, educational experiences, highlighting that impaired driving crashes are entirely preventable. We are hiring energetic and responsible Brand Ambassadors to represent the campaign across six indoor locations throughout Texas. You will help educate the public about the importance of planning a sober ride, while encouraging participation in quizzes, virtual reality simulations, and interactive games like corn-hole and basketball toss. Event Location: Corpus Christi 78411 Date & Time: June 28, 10:30AM - 9:00PM Pay: $28.00/hr Key Responsibilities: Engage with event attendees and communicate the core campaign message: Never drive impaired. Plan a sober ride. Invite guests to participate in interactive campaign components: Virtual Reality driving simulator Drunk goggles experience Corn-hole and basketball toss games Educational quizzes and video exhibits Distribute and assist with completion of campaign surveys Keep traffic flowing between each station and encourage guests to experience all elements Track and report interaction and impression counts to the on-site Outreach Manager Maintain a professional, friendly, and alert presence throughout the entire activation Assist with basic event setup and breakdown if needed Wear campaign shirt (provided), black pants or long black shorts, and closed-toe shoes Requirements: Outgoing, approachable, and professional demeanor Comfortable standing for extended periods (approx. 8 hours) Strong verbal communication and crowd engagement skills Able to take direction and work as part of a team Must be punctual, reliable, and have reliable transportation to and from venue Prior brand ambassador, event staffing, or promotional experience preferred
