Gig Overview: We’re hiring enthusiastic and outgoing Brand Ambassadors to represent Lidl, a leading grocery retailer, at an exciting branded food truck activation across Charlotte, NC! This mobile experience will bring Lidl’s products directly to the community, and you’ll be the face of the brand, engaging with guests, sharing product knowledge, distributing free samples of pre-packaged ice cream, and maintaining an energetic, fun atmosphere. As a Brand Ambassador for the Lidl Food Truck Activation, you’ll be at the center of all the excitement, bringing smiles (ice cream and other goodies!) to guests across Charlotte, NC. Your mission? Help set the stage by keeping the food truck and activation area looking sharp, then dive into the action by welcoming guests, handing out free prepackaged ice cream samples, and sharing what makes Lidl such a standout grocery brand. You’ll keep energy high, drive traffic to the truck, guide people through interactive activities like photo ops, and make sure everyone has an unforgettable experience. Bonus points if you can do it all with a scoop of charm and a sprinkle of enthusiasm, oh, and don’t forget your NC food handler’s permit! Schedule: November 8, 9:30PM - 2:30PM Location: Walmart - TBD November 9, 9:30PM - 2:30PM Location: Walmart - TBD November 15, 9:30PM - 2:30PM Location: Walmart - TBD November 16, 9:30PM - 2:30PM Location: Walmart - TBD November 22, 9:30PM - 2:30PM Location: Walmart - TBD November 23, 9:30PM - 2:30PM Location: Walmart - TBD Pay: $28.00/hr Key Responsibilities: Assist with light setup and breakdown of the activation area and food truck Ensure the activation space and truck remain clean, organized, and visually appealing Actively engage and greet event attendees, creating a welcoming and friendly environment Educate guests about Lidl and their product offerings in a clear, positive, and informative manner Distribute free prepackaged ice cream samples safely and efficiently Drive traffic to the activation and encourage participation in on-site activities Support interactive elements such as a photo moment, games, or branded giveaways Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene and handling procedures Maintain a professional appearance and uphold brand standards throughout the event Assist with any additional tasks as directed by the on-site event manager or client team Qualifications: Must have a valid North Carolina Food Handler’s Permit (Required – no exceptions) Prior experience in brand activations, food sampling, or promotional events preferred Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality with excellent people skills Comfortable working in outdoor environments and standing for extended periods Able to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with basic setup and cleanup Must be punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions precisely Strong communication skills and the ability to represent a brand professionally Team-oriented mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a smooth activation
