Job Overview:
TxDOT’s Look Twice for Motorcycles campaign aims to reduce motorcycle-related incidents by educating drivers on habits that help keep motorcyclists safe. As part of National Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, this interactive roadshow will include a virtual reality exhibit that allows participants to experience the roadway from the perspective of a driver and a motorcyclist.
As a Brand Ambassador for the MOTOR campaign, you’ll be the face of the activation, welcoming and engaging event attendees at various outdoor locations across Texas. You’ll invite guests to participate in a virtual reality simulator that demonstrates the dangers motorcyclists face on the road. Using provided talking points, you’ll help educate the public on motorcycle safety and highlight small changes drivers can make to protect riders—like checking blind spots and giving extra space. You'll also be responsible for collecting survey responses and reporting on guest interactions and impressions to the on-site Outreach Manager.
This is a highly interactive, guest-facing role that requires you to be energetic, personable, and comfortable initiating conversations. You’ll stand and actively engage for most of your shift while assisting with light setup and breakdown duties before and after the event. A campaign T-shirt will be provided; you’ll be expected to pair it with black pants or long shorts and maintain a professional, safety-focused demeanor throughout the activation.
