Gig Overview
Brand Besties is booking Brand Ambassadors for the 1800 Tequila Taste Collective, an exclusive, interactive trade-facing experience taking place during Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans. This is a premium venue-based event designed for bartenders and spirits industry professionals, featuring multiple curated guest touchpoints throughout the space including check-in, a guided tasting experience, an interactive tasting challenge, merch, and more. This is not your average event gig. This is a polished, elevated production where you'll be rubbing elbows with the best in the business.
As a Brand Ambassador on this activation, you'll be part of a six-person team working across key positions throughout the venue. Whether you're welcoming guests at the door, supporting the merch area, guiding attendees through the check-in process for the tasting experience, or energizing participants at the interactive tasting challenge station, your role is to keep the energy high, the guest flow smooth, and the experience seamless from start to finish.
We're looking for polished, professional, hospitality-minded talent who thrive in trade and industry environments. You don't need to be a spirits expert. You do need to show up sharp, engaged, and ready to represent a premium brand with confidence and warmth.

July 22, 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM (1 Brand Ambassador — extended schedule includes dinner support at a second location beginning approximately 5:00 PM)
Pay: $30.00/hr
Parking: Up to $30.00 reimbursement per contractor
Gig Scope
Brand Ambassadors on this activation will be assigned to one of four stations throughout the venue: Door, Merch, Interactive Tasting Challenge, or Guided Tasting Check-In. Those working the Door will support guest arrival, line management, and directing attendees to the right areas of the venue. The Merch station contractor will support the merchandise area, assisting guests and keeping things organized and inviting. Two contractors will be stationed at the Interactive Tasting Challenge, encouraging and supporting guest participation, keeping energy up, and ensuring guests have a memorable moment at the station. One contractor will support the Guided Tasting Check-In, managing guest flow and ensuring a smooth, welcoming entry point into the guided tasting experience. One contractor on the extended schedule will support the event through the full day and then transition to a second location for dinner support beginning around 5:00 PM, running through 11:30 PM.
Ideal Candidate
Polished, professional, and comfortable in premium or trade-facing environments
Warm, outgoing, and naturally hospitality-minded — guests feel taken care of when you're around
Comfortable supporting guest flow, check-in, light event explanation, and interactive stations
Prior experience in hospitality, experiential events, spirits, or beverage is preferred but not required
Reliable, punctual, and able to stay sharp for a full event day
Adaptable and team-oriented, able to follow direction from an on-site coordinator
Must be 21 or older
