Gig Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and hands-on Production Assistant / Brand Ambassador to support the Texas Department of Transportation’s “Be Safe. Drive Smart.” campaign during Friday night high school football games across Texas. This is a hybrid role perfect for someone who loves both behind-the-scenes action and front-of-house energy. You’ll assist our client with setup and breakdown of the Road Show trailer activation, and then jump right into engaging football fans as a Brand Ambassador, driving traffic to the experience, encouraging participation in interactive activities, and delivering important safety messages.
The Production Assistant / Brand Ambassador will support the campaign from start to finish by arriving early to help set up the Road Show trailer, organizing materials, and ensuring the activation is ready before fans arrive. During the event, they will shift into a Brand Ambassador role, engaging attendees, driving traffic to the trailer, encouraging participation in quizzes, VR games, and video displays, and distributing giveaways while educating guests on safe driving practices. They will also collect surveys via iPad, report interaction counts to the Outreach Manager, keep the space organized, and then stay after the event to assist with breakdown and packing up equipment.
