In this role, you will serve as the voice of change for our leading public transportation provider in San Antonio. You will engage directly with transit users to share exciting updates about upcoming service improvements, answer questions, distribute information, and ensure every interaction leaves a positive impression. Key Responsibilities:
Active Engagement:
Proactively approach and interact with public transit users at designated locations.
Initiate friendly conversations, share important service updates, and create memorable interactions with riders.
Information Distribution:
Hand out clear, concise informational material about upcoming transit service changes.
Record questions, feedback, and concerns from the public to help shape ongoing communication efforts.
Advocacy & Education:
Explain the benefits and details of new service enhancements, such as improvements to regular bus routes, express options, rapid transit services, and on-demand ride-sharing.
Act as a knowledgeable resource on how these changes will positively impact the community.
Training & Preparedness:
Attend a mandatory virtual training session to learn about the transit provider’s services, upcoming changes, and effective outreach techniques.
Participate in an in-person training session to finalize preparation and ensure all staff are fully equipped to represent the program confidently.
Performance & Reporting:
Keep detailed records of interactions and feedback from transit users.
Provide daily reports summarizing key questions asked and areas of interest or concern among the public.
