Gig Overview:
We’re looking for outgoing, high-energy Brand Ambassadors to bring this campaign to life! As part of the traveling activation, you’ll help operate the “DWI Not So Fun House” a mobile, holiday-themed exhibit featuring quizzes, virtual reality games, drunk goggles, and interactive displays designed to educate and engage the community.
You’ll play a key role in connecting with the public, sparking meaningful conversations, and helping visitors understand that planning for a sober ride saves lives.
The Texas Department of Transportation’s Drive Sober. No Regrets. A statewide holiday campaign is dedicated to promoting safe and responsible celebrations throughout the season. The campaign’s mission is simple but powerful, to remind Texans that driving drunk is never an option, and that celebrating doesn’t matter if you don’t make it home. Through engaging, interactive experiences, we’ll encourage partygoers and drivers alike to plan ahead for a sober ride.

Date & Time: December 4, 1:30PM - 6:00PM
Pay: $28.00/hr
Parking: Will be free on site.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and engage visitors at the Road Show Trailer, inviting them to participate in campaign activities like the driving simulator, cornhole toss, basketball challenge, and VR drunk goggles experience.
Communicate key safety messages using provided Talking Points, ensuring every guest walks away informed and inspired to plan ahead for a sober ride.
Assist with survey collection, gather participant feedback, and help track interaction and impression counts to report to the Outreach Manager on-site.
Help maintain a positive, organized, and safe event environment by assisting with minor setup, breakdown, and activity coordination as needed.
Represent TxDOT and the campaign with professionalism, enthusiasm, and warmth, embodying the holiday spirit while staying on message.
Stay alert, approachable, and proactive throughout the event, guests should feel welcomed and encouraged to join in the fun!
Requirements
Must be outgoing, engaging, and confident speaking with people of all ages.
Comfortable working outdoors and standing for long periods.
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different event environments.
Able to work cohesively with other team members and follow direction from the on-site Outreach Manager.
Must bring a positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
