Gig Overview: Formula 1 is returning to Circuit of the Americas in Austin, and Brand Besties is booking 86 Ushers to help deliver a smooth, welcoming experience for fans throughout the event weekend. Stationed throughout the venue, you'll guide guests to their designated sections and seating areas, verify tickets at section entry points, and help maintain efficient crowd flow across the property. This position focuses on guest guidance and crowd support rather than premium hospitality service. Your professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to assist large groups of guests will help create a seamless experience for race weekend attendees. Event Location: Circuit of the Americas (COTA) Event Address: 9201 Circuit of the Americas Blvd, Austin, TX 78617 Dates and Times: • October 23, 7:30AM to 5:00PM • October 24, 7:00AM to 6:00PM • October 25, 7:00AM to 6:00PM Pay: $24.00/hr Parking: Free on site Gig Scope As an Usher, you'll guide guests to their designated sections, seats, and amenities throughout Circuit of the Americas, helping ensure a smooth and confident arrival experience for every fan. You'll check and verify tickets at section entry points, confirming guests are in the correct areas and handling any discrepancies with professionalism. You'll actively monitor and manage guest movement through aisles, corridors, and access points to keep the venue safe and organized, and respond to guest questions about seating, facilities, event schedules, and the venue layout with a friendly, knowledgeable approach. You'll also assist guests with accessibility needs to ensure equal access to seats and amenities, stay alert to safety concerns and venue policy compliance, and work closely with fellow Ushers, Guest Services, and Ticketing staff to deliver a seamless, unified fan experience.
