Gig Overview:
We are seeking 3 experienced, confident, and highly organized Team Leads to oversee all Brand Ambassadors and activation areas during the World Baseball Classic in Houston. This is a leadership role for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-profile environments and excel at managing people, clients, and moving parts simultaneously. Team Leads are critical to the success of the event, ensuring every activation runs smoothly and every guest enjoys a seamless, high-quality experience.
Each Team Lead will be assigned a designated area within the event while maintaining visibility across all activations and staff. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to step into any staff role as needed to maintain coverage and operational efficiency.

Atrium Entrance: BA 3, BA 4 & BA 5
Gallagher’s Club: BA 6
Team Leads will oversee their assigned areas, ensuring all Brand Ambassadors are performing at a high level and that guest experiences remain seamless throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all Brand Ambassadors across assigned areas, ensuring staff engagement, professionalism, and adherence to event standards
Check in all staff at the start of each day, confirming attendance, uniforms, and readiness
Manage staff schedules and coordinate breaks to maintain continuous coverage
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the client team
Maintain ongoing communication with Brand Besties HQ throughout the event day
Ensure all activations and guest experiences within assigned areas are running smoothly and on schedule
Troubleshoot issues in real time, including staffing gaps, guest concerns, or operational challenges
Step into any Brand Ambassador role as needed during breaks or high-traffic moments
Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and ensure expectations are consistently met
Provide leadership, direction, and support to staff throughout the event day
Communicate updates, changes, or concerns quickly and clearly to all relevant parties
Maintain a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Ideal Candidate
Prior experience as a Team Lead, Field Manager, or Event Manager preferred
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Comfortable being client-facing and making real-time decisions
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
Able to multitask and remain composed under pressure
Willing and able to step into any staff role as needed to support operations
