Job Overview: We’re bringing Hollywood glam to Hutto! A brand-new multiplex is opening its doors, and we’re looking to hire high-energy, engaging actors to portray “Popperazzi” – a playful, retro twist on paparazzi. This activation is designed to entertain and delight guests as they arrive, setting the tone for an unforgettable grand opening experience. You will be dressed in trench coats, hats and provide retro cameras to play the part! You will be tasked with playfully taking pictures of guests as they arrive, offer a friendly welcome and ensure their initial entrance is overwhelmingly positive. Event Location: Hutto, Texas 78634 Date & Time: May 21, 4:30PM - 8:30PM Pay: $40.00/hr Parking: Will be free on site. Role Responsibilities: Engage Guests: Greet attendees with enthusiasm as they arrive at the multiplex, acting as playful “Popperazzi.” Stay in Character: Portray an over-the-top, old-Hollywood paparazzi persona — think tabloid-style enthusiasm, but with a fun and friendly tone. Pose & Pretend: Use a provided vintage camera prop to “snap photos” (no actual photography required). Create the illusion of celebrity treatment while ensuring guests feel welcome, not overwhelmed. Answer Questions: Be informed and approachable – you may need to answer basic event or venue questions (event FAQ sheet will be provided). Keep It Light: Maintain energy and excitement while being mindful not to be too intrusive or overly aggressive in interactions. Support the Vibe: Help set the tone for the evening by providing an interactive, entertaining, and memorable first impression. Ideal Candidate: Experienced actor or performer comfortable with improvisation Outgoing and confident engaging with guests of all ages Excellent verbal communication and character consistency Able to balance high energy with respectful guest interaction Reliable, punctual, and a team player
