Location: Greater Columbus Convention Center 400 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215 Available Shifts/Positions: Position A: Room Monitor Position A (1) Sunday, October 11: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (8 hours) Monday, October 12: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM (4 hours) Total: 12 hours Position A (2) Sunday, October 11: 1:30 PM–5:30 PM (4 hours) Monday, October 12: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM (4 hours) Total: 8 hours Position B: Receptionist Receptionist B (1) Sunday, October 11: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (7 hours) Monday, October 12: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (4 hours) Total: 11 hours Receptionist B (2) Sunday, October 11: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM (6 hours) Monday, October 12: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (5 hours) Total: 11 hours Position C: Dishwasher Sunday, October 11: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (9 hours) Monday, October 12: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (9 hours) Total: 18 hours *Please note that you must be able to work all shifts within the position to be scheduled for the position. **Please also note that positions are first come, first served. Job Descriptions: Will Call/Badge Pickup - Helping pre-registered attendees locate and pick up their event badges; must be organized, friendly, and able to keep lines moving swiftly. Room Monitor - Managing an assigned presentation room, assisting speakers as needed, and scanning attendee badges at the door; must be attentive and polite. Receptionist - Acting as the gatekeeper for the show office, greeting appointments, taking messages, and assisting management as needed; must be highly organized and professional. Dishwasher - Washes dishes from the pizza makers. Pay: All shifts and positions pay $26.00 hour, parking will be reimbursed with receipt. We do not reimburse for Lyft, Uber, or any rideshare apps. We also do not reimburse for public transportation. Attire for the event is black dress/work pants, a black polo/button down shirt, and black shoes/sneakers with a matching belt. Visible tattoos must be covered and all piercings, other than earrings must be removed. The black polo/button down shirt cannot have any logos or branding on it. You must be a US citizen or have documents to prove you can work in the US. This is an employer/employee W2 relationship.
