On Campus Event Marketing Paid Opportunity : Texas A&M University   Dentsu Creative, (part of dentsu, a global media company) an experiential marketing agency, is producing a program on behalf of our client (a major national retailer), and we are going to be on college campuses for a few days to promote a service that our client is offering to the student community.     We are HIRING part-time hourly individuals to represent our client’s brand and assist us in executing this campaign.     For members of college communities, this is a great opportunity to experience the world of Event Marketing and become familiar with dentsu, where we are always looking for talented people to join our teams.    PROGRAM FOCUS: Engage the student community with an exciting offer for a popular subscription service and achieve free 30-day trial membership sign-ups.    ROLE: Campus Brand Ambassador  Candidates must be confident, well-spoken, and comfortable approaching people and fellow students to explain the service and benefits. We are looking for people who are fearless when approaching the public and super friendly with great energy! Prior to working on-site, you will participate in virtual training to become familiar with the service that we are promoting. Help with light setup/breakdown of the promotional area on-site. Candidates with sales experience and an entrepreneurial, goal-oriented mindset are ideal! Candidates who are involved in the student community are also ideal.    PROGRAM SCHEDULE at Texas A&M University: o Tuesday, September 2nd o Wednesday, September 3rd o Friday, September 5th ACTIVATION HOURS: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM PAID VIRTUAL TRAINING: Each hired staff member must attend a 2-day (2 hours each) paid virtual training call, which includes a live, interactive video call, a review of our training deck/module and a short quiz. Attendance to training is required for this program via Microsoft Teams: o    Day 1: All Staff Training:  Thursday, August 28th from 2 PM EST – 4 PM EST o    Day 2: All Staff training: Friday, August 29th from 2 PM EST – 4 PM EST Mileage & Drive Time: Mileage reimbursement and drive time pay ($20/hour) may be available for events over 30 miles from home, with prior approval. Eligible staff must request approval at least 7 days in advance and follow submission guidelines. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  o Comfortable standing on feet during shifts and potentially outdoors  o Must have a smartphone (iOS or Android)  o Must have own method of transportation to and from the event  o 18+ years old and able to work in US, with valid government IDs.  o Experience or interest in marketing, advertising, sales, customer service, hospitality, etc.     RATE: $30/hour via W2  This is a Part-Time Occasional Hourly W2 role  A W-4 and I-9 will have to be completed prior to working. Valid, non-expired identification is required for I-9 documentation.
