Job Type: Part-Time/Temporary (Contract) Company Overview: We are a leading event management company specializing in organizing large-scale pub/club crawls across major cities in the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Australia. Our Halloween crawls bring together hundreds of participants for a night of fun, socializing, and exploring the city's best bars and clubs. We're hiring enthusiastic, reliable Event Hosts for Halloween weekend 2026, our biggest weekend of the year. About the Weekend: We're running crawls in Greenville across Halloween weekend: Thursday October 29, Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31. Hosts can work a single shift or take on as many as they want. The more shifts you take, the more you earn. Job Description: As an Event Host, you'll be the face of the crawl. You'll manage participant check-in, distribute wristbands, and guide groups between venues throughout the night, keeping the energy high and the event running smoothly. Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome participants at the registration venue - Distribute wristbands and event materials - Scan tickets and verify participant information - Share event schedule details, participating venues, and special offers - Guide participant groups between venues on schedule - Assist with crowd flow and maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere - Answer participant questions and address concerns - Escalate any on-site issues to event management Requirements: - Must be 21 years of age or older - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-focused approach - Calm and professional in fast-paced nightlife environments - Reliable and punctual with the ability to commit to your scheduled shifts - Must have an Apple iPhone with an active data plan for ticket scanning and communication (no Androids, they're buggy with the Eventbrite Organizer app) - Bring a battery pack for your iPhone and make sure it is fully charged before your shift. Ticket scanning runs the whole night and will drain your phone - Must be available at least one of: Oct 29, Oct 30, or Oct 31, 2026 (preference given to applicants with multi-day availability) - Must be able to receive payment via one of our supported methods: PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or Wise - Previous experience in event hosting, promotions, or customer service is a plus, but not required - Former hosts: worked with us before?
