Part-time contract work, Halloween weekend 2026. Pay: C$25/hour (CAD), paid by Interac e-Transfer or PayPal within 7 business days of every shift you work. Who we are: We run large-scale pub and club crawls in major cities across Canada, the USA, the UK, Ireland and Australia. Halloween is the biggest weekend of our year, and hundreds of people join each crawl to work through a city's best bars and clubs in one night. The shifts: Victoria runs Thursday October 29, Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31. Take one night or take all three. Each shift runs about five hours at the same hourly rate, so the more nights you pick up the more you earn. What the job actually is: You are the person the group looks to all night. You check people in, hand out wristbands, then walk the group from venue to venue and keep the mood up. Four bars a night, and you stay at the last one until the shift ends, because that is when the door is busiest. What you will be doing: - Checking participants in at the first venue and scanning tickets - Handing out wristbands and event materials - Running through the schedule, the venue list and any offers with the group - Leading the group between venues and keeping to time - Managing crowd flow and keeping the atmosphere positive - Answering questions and sorting small problems on the spot - Flagging anything bigger to event management straight away What we need from you: - 21 or older - Comfortable talking to a large group and keeping them together - Friendly and outgoing, and calm when a venue gets busy - Reliable, on time, and committed to the shifts you accept - An Apple iPhone with an active data plan. Ticket scanning runs on the Eventbrite Organizer app and it is unreliable on Android - A charged battery pack. Scanning runs all night and will flatten your phone - Free for at least one of October 29, 30 or 31. Multi-night availability gets preference - Able to be paid by Interac e-Transfer or PayPal - Event, promo or customer service experience helps, but it is not required - Worked with us before?
