Gail & Rice is currently hiring the most outgoing, reliable and energetic local Brand Ambassadors at the Erie County Fair to represent a state lottery brand. Event Details: Event: Erie County Fair Location: Erie County Fair - 5600 McKinley Parkway, Hamburg, New York 14075 Training – All Staff: Tuesday, August 5: 6 hours, exact times TBD closer to the start of the event. Training is mandatory, so please make sure your schedule allows for you to attend training if it starts in the AM. Dates & Hours: • Friday, August 8: 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM • Saturday, August 9: 8 hours – Shift times will be available soon. • Friday, August 15: 8 hours • Saturday, August 16: 8 hours • Sunday, August 17: 8 hours Rate: $30.00 per hour • Staff are hired as W2 temporary employees paid bi-weekly via direct deposit, OT when applicable. • Parking is free. • OT when applicable. Wardrobe: • Staff will wear their own: • Black pants or golf length-shorts. • Clean, black athletic shoes. • Female Staff Hair & Make-up: Very finished look. Nails manicured with nude polish. • Male Staff: Well-groomed facial and head hair, short well-maintained fingernails. • Event is outdoors. Staff must be prepared for warm weather conditions throughout the duration of the event. Provided on-site: • Branded shirts will be provided onsite. Activation Job Description: Brand Ambassador to be proactive with New York State Lottery event through continuous consumer engagement, line management, assist with light set-up and tear down, giveaways and assist EM as needed. • The event is a combination of outdoor (some tent coverage) and some indoor activation. • Brand Ambassadors must be engaging, outgoing & energetic while working within the footprint. • Additional Requirements: • Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old. • Applicants MUST be able to stand for duration of shift. • Applicants MUST arrive event ready. • Applicants MUST be able to lift 25 lbs. on and off throughout the duration of the event.
