Gigs by Diesel is looking for Brand Reps in the KC area for in store tastings for something HOT! The Mission Are you the person who carries a bottle of hot sauce in your bag? Do you believe "mild" is just another word for "water"? We are looking for a high-energy, spice-loving Brand Ambassador to be the face of our brand at local grocery stores. Your goal is simple: Turn shoppers into heat-seekers. You’ll be setting up shop in the aisles, handing out samples, and convincing customers that their tacos, eggs, and life in general deserve more flavor. Key Responsibilities The Set-Up: Transport and set up a clean, inviting demo station (table, branded cloth, and product display). The Pitch: Proactively engage shoppers, share the story behind our sauce, and explain our unique flavor profile (it’s not just heat; it’s art). The Sample: Safely prepare and serve samples (usually on chips or crackers) following all food safety protocols. The Close: Encourage customers to put a bottle in their cart right then and there. The Report: Snap a few photos of the setup and provide a quick post-demo summary of sales and customer feedback. What You Bring to the Table Outgoing Personality: You’re comfortable talking to strangers and can handle a "no thanks" with a smile. The "Spice" Factor: Genuine passion for hot sauce and spicy food. You can talk about Scoville levels without breaking a sweat. Reliability: You’re punctual and can work independently without a manager hovering over your shoulder. Professionalism: You understand that you are representing our brand. You’re clean, organized, and friendly. Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for the full 3-hour shift and lift up to 25 lbs (your kit and sauce). Requirements Must be 18+ years of age. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to various store locations. Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain one—it’s easy!).
