The Role --- We're looking for engaging Emcee/Event Hosts to lead corporate volunteering experiences end-to-end – from setup to facilitation to wrap-up – so volunteers leave energized and nonprofits feel truly supported. You'll join a global community of 2,000+ hosts and represent Goodera on the ground with warmth, confidence, and high attention to detail. This role requires someone who thrives in front of people, thinks quickly on their feet, and genuinely loves creating memorable experiences. Learn more about our diverse and always growing host community, here: https://www.goodera.com/pages/goodera-host-community What You'll Do --- *Manage setup and logistics: run materials and inventory check, prepare volunteer instructions, and contingency planning *Host and facilitate the volunteer event experience keeping energy high and instructions crystal clear. *Run the event flow: Introductions, check-in QR code, icebreaker, agenda, Impact Communications, transitions, timekeeping, engagement moments, calls to action and closing *Create a standout volunteer experience: make people feel welcome, included, and confident in what they're doing *Capture and share impact moments: photos/videos, volunteer quotes/testimonials, attendance notes, and short highlights for recap *Connect with nonprofit partners to ensure alignment on goals, beneficiary context, and post-event follow-through *Troubleshoot in real time: adapt quickly when plans shift, and keep the group calm and moving For In-Person Events: ---- *Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (event materials, supplies) *Ability to stand for 2-4 hours at a time *Reliable transportation to event venues within your city *Comfort helping set up and reset event spaces (tables, chairs, materials, etc.) Language Requirements: -- *Fluent in English (written and spoken) *Bilingual skills are a plus but not required What We Offer ---- *Per-event compensation ($200USD per event ) plus travel reimbursement *Flexible scheduling - choose the events you want to host based on your availability *Comprehensive training program with shadowing, mentorship, and ongoing development *Opportunities to work with global corporate teams and represent nonprofit partners making real impact *Professional development: build facilitation, public speaking, and event management skills
