Job Title: Overnight Security Guard Location: Chuys on Barton Springs Rd Shift: Overnight (11PM – 6:00 AM) Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Overnight Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our branded assets during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will patrol the property, respond to incidents, and enforce site policies to protect people and property. Key Responsibilities: -Patrol assigned areas on foot maintain a visible security presence -Respond to disturbances, or unusual activity promptly and professionally -Communicate effectively with other staff, and emergency responders -Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift Qualifications: -High school diploma or GED required -Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred -Valid security license/guard card preferred -Ability to pass a background check -Strong observational and problem-solving skills -Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure -Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions Working Conditions: -Overnight shift hours -Outdoor work environment -Occasional exposure high-stress situations Compensation: $25 an hour Skills and Requirements: Fitness - Advanced
