Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Manager to oversee event logistics, coordinate with ambassadors and on-site vendors, and ensure seamless execution of specialty events, first up, a Diwali Celebration in October. The Field Manager will play a crucial role in setting up and breaking down events, organizing supplies, and managing on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Storage & Logistics Management
Prepare and organize supplies, including tables, displays, signage, and giveaways
Reserve and load a small U-Haul truck before each event
Pre-Event Preparation
Conduct pre-site visits to stores and event locations
Work with the grocery retailer and corporate GT Universe team to review table setups, signage placement, and electrical access
Organize supplies and review reminder guides for field teams and brand ambassadors
Print necessary signage and promotional materials
Participate in pre-event calls with the corporate GT and field team to align on responsibilities
Event Execution
Arrive on-site early (7 AM - 9 AM) to coordinate event setup, event typically runs 12pm-4pm
Direct ambassadors and event staff to their designated areas
Ensure product samples, promotional materials, and displays are properly set up
Periodically check supply levels, trash maintenance, and overall event presentation
Capture and manage event photography, including action shots and staged photos
Guide videographers, musicians, and special guests as needed
Oversee raffle giveaways and prize distributions
Post-Event Responsibilities
Supervise breakdown of tables and displays
Ensure brand ambassadors clean up and consolidate demo supplies
Conduct a final walkthrough of the store or venue
Thank and check out with the Store Director before departure
Load supplies back into the truck and unload
Send recap to GT corporate team and encourage ambassadors to submit theirs, all for prompt payment following event
Qualifications & Skills
Prior event management, logistics, or field marketing experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lift and move supplies, tables, and event materials
Comfortable driving and loading/unloading a U-Haul truck
Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
