City Manager – Brand Activation (Full-Time)
Market: San Antonio, TX.
Assignment Duration: May 2026 – January 2027
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation: $1,250–$1,300 per week (W-2, pre-tax)
Training: Paid training provided (combination of virtual and in-person sessions)
Position Overview
Havas Street is seeking a dynamic and motivated City Manager to represent a premium spirits brand in the Austin market. This role is responsible for overseeing local brand activations, managing event execution, and leading a team of Brand Ambassadors to ensure high-quality consumer engagement and program success.
Key Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older
TABC Certification required
Minimum of 1 year of management experience within the spirits or beer industry preferred
Prior experience in event marketing or brand activations strongly preferred
Must reside locally in Austin or San Antonio, TX (local candidates only)
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
Comfortable with daily travel and physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Core Responsibilities
Event & Program Management
Execute and oversee all aspects of local sampling events and promotional activations
Ensure proper use of brand assets and adherence to brand guidelines
Manage event logistics, scheduling, and on-site execution to maintain high standards
Support and attend events regularly to ensure compliance and operational excellence
Operations & Logistics
Oversee warehouse/storage unit operations, including inventory and asset management
Coordinate distribution and transportation of promotional materials and product
Maintain accurate program reporting, including event recaps, photos, and market insights
Financial & Administrative Oversight
Manage local budgets and team credit cards; submit monthly expense reports
Process and submit weekly payroll for Brand Ambassadors accurately and on time
Address team inquiries related to payroll and provide support as needed
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Brand Ambassadors and logistics staff
Provide ongoing coaching to ensure product knowledge, compliance, and performance standards
Partner with Regional Manager on performance management and team development
Client & Market Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for local sales teams and stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts and consumers
Monitor competitive activity and share market insights and best practices
Consistently meet or exceed program KPIs, including execution quality and sales targets
