We are looking for Team Leads to help us spread awareness! ** MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE AND MUST LIVE IN GREATER PHILADELPHIA TO APPLY ** Indie-Life Events is working with United Way to help promote and provide access to useful resources and information that are beneficial to the community, with the intention to help end poverty and expand opportunities for all. We want the whole city to know about United Way's programs! Review the campaign details below. THE ACTIVATION BAs will attend United Way community tabling events, such as street festivals, block parties, info/job fairs, etc. to distribute promotional items and handouts provided by United Way, and inform event guests about the free service. Also encourage people to register for text alerts and download the PA211 app (Android/iOS). PA211 is a free, easy-to-remember helpline that connects individuals and families with important services and resources in their local communities. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in over 150 languages. From everyday needs to educational opportunities and crisis support, a 211 Resource Specialist is ready to help Philadelphia Area residents and families connect to more than 10,000 local health and human services across our region. United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and Verizon have partnered to promote disaster resilience and preparedness. United Way will be doing community outreach and hosting workshops to help individuals better prepare for emergencies and recover more quickly in the event of an emergency. Our initial focus area will be on fire safety. EVENT STAFF DUTIES TEAM LEAD (TL) - $25/hour (MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION) - All BA Duties - Track event materials and complete event recap - TL will transport event set-up to and from events * 4 to 6ft. folding table * Pop-up tent for outside events * 1 or 2 Folding chairs * Bags/boxes of swag + fliers LOCATION x TIME/DATE(s) The campaign/events will run in various locations throughout the city of Philadelphia from April through November 2026. Dates and times will vary per event. We typically do 15-20 events per month. STAFF UNIFORM - Branded United Way T-shirt - Dark blue denim/jeans - Comfortable Shoes/Sneakers *You are expected to dress in a professional manner and remember that you represent the client and this agency on the worksite.* TO APPLY If you’re interested in joining the team, reply with a DM and someone from our team will contact you with additional information. *Preference will be given to those with open availability.
