Role Overview
The Event Producer will oversee all on-site logistics, staffing coordination, and operational execution for a live sports/event activation. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and hands-on execution during high-pressure, live-event environments.
Key Responsibilities
Load-In (Pre-Season & Event Setup)
Receive and unload inbound shipments; verify BOLs and report damages
Build and set venue according to layouts (fan activations, signage, locker rooms, etc.)
Coordinate with broadcast teams on production setup and logistics
Ensure venue readiness including cleaning and operational setup
During Season / Event Execution
Lead daily operations with venue staff (security, housekeeping, etc.)
Manage on-site labor crews and vendors
Oversee setup/tear-down of activations and ancillary events
Handle inventory, shipments, and credential distribution
Act as primary on-site problem solver during live events
Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and operational readiness
Load-Out (Post-Season)
Coordinate teardown, vendor pickups, and equipment removal
Inventory, clean, and pack all assets for storage or transport
Ensure proper documentation and organization for future use
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years experience in event operations, production, or venue management
- Strong leadership and crew management experience
- Experience working with live events, sports, or large-scale activations
- Ability to work long, flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
- Comfortable in fast-paced, physically demanding environments
