Job Description:
We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Campus Scout to visit a designated college campus and collect photos, videos, and observational data to help our team plan a future event activation. This role is ideal for someone who is familiar with their campus, comfortable following instructions, and able to document spaces thoroughly.
Scouting Date
Scouting will take place on one of the following dates. You only need to be available for one of these days:
Monday, August 31
Tuesday, September 1
Monday, September 7
Tuesday, September 8
Please indicate which date(s) you are available. We will schedule you for one scouting day based on availability and project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Visit assigned campus locations during the scheduled scouting window
* Capture clear photos and videos of the proposed activation area from multiple angles
* Document surrounding features, including walkways, entrances, seating areas, and nearby landmarks
* Observe and note pedestrian traffic patterns throughout the scouting period
* Complete a questionnaire detailing foot traffic, accessibility, available space, and any potential logistical considerations
* Submit all photos, videos, and completed questionnaire by the specified deadline
* Communicate any notable observations or challenges to the project manager
Qualifications:
* Current student or someone familiar with the assigned campus preferred
* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
* Comfortable using a smartphone to capture high-quality photos and videos
* Able to follow written instructions and complete documentation accurately
* Strong communication skills and responsive via email and/or text
* Prior event, campus ambassador, or promotional experience is a plus
Additional Information:
This position is guaranteed a minimum of 4 paid hours. If additional scouting is needed—for example, if the initial location isn't the best fit—we may ask you to stay for up to 2+ additional paid hours. Applicants should have flexible availability in case an extended scouting session is required.
Communication is extremely important for this role. You must be responsive via text throughout your shift, answer questions promptly, and provide updates as requested. We're looking for someone who communicates clearly, follows directions well, and is proactive in asking questions if anything is unclear.
