It Starts With Me 2 Corp is seeking professional, energetic, and dependable Event Ambassadors to represent our nonprofit at upcoming Atlanta-area community and fitness events. Our Event Ambassadors will assist with booth activations, community engagement, event promotion, and outreach. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable approaching people, starting conversations, promoting our organization and events, and creating a positive experience for attendees. UPCOMING EVENTS: Big Peach Sizzler 5K/10K – September 7, 2026 (Buckhead) Assist with our It Starts With Me 2 booth activation, engage with race participants and attendees, promote the Mableton Pumpkin Chase 5K, distribute promotional materials and giveaways, and help create an energetic and welcoming booth experience. Make-A-Wish 5K (Marietta) & Fall Festival (Mableton) – October 3, 2026 Assist with our nonprofit booth, engage with families and attendees, assist with activities and giveaways, distribute information, and promote It Starts With Me 2 programs and upcoming events. Mableton Pumpkin Chase Route Preview 5K (Mableton) – October 6, 2026 Assist with setting up the route, greeting participants, checking them in, answering questions, encouraging participants, having fun. Mableton Pumpkin Chase 5K (Mableton)- October 17, 2026 Additional paid opportunities may be available to assist with our race-day operations, participant engagement, booth activations, and community outreach. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Represent It Starts With Me 2 in a professional and enthusiastic manner • Greet and engage event attendees • Initiate conversations with participants and members of the community • Explain our nonprofit and upcoming events • Promote the Mableton Pumpkin Chase 5K • Assist with booth setup and breakdown • Distribute flyers, promotional materials, and giveaways • Assist with games, activities, and booth activations • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming booth • Take photos/videos when requested • Arrive on time and remain engaged throughout the scheduled shift • Follow event instructions and represent the organization professionally at all times IDEAL CANDIDATE: • Reliable and punctual • Outgoing and comfortable approaching strangers • Professional appearance and demeanor • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Previous event, brand ambassador, promotional, fitness, nonprofit, or community-event experience preferred • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Reliable transportation required • Must be able to maintain a positive and energetic attitude throughout the event ATTIRE / UNIFORM: Athletic apparel is required. Ambassadors should wear black shorts, leggings, or capris with clean athletic/tennis shoes. An orange pumpkin shirt will be provided and must be worn during the event. PAY: $30 per hour. ESTIMATED HOURS: Approximately 4 hours per event. Exact shift times will be provided in advance. RELIABILITY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: We are looking to build a dependable team of professional Event Ambassadors who are interested in working multiple It Starts With Me 2 events throughout the year. Individuals who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, and reliability may be offered additional paid event opportunities.
