Role Overview
The Production Assistant (PA) supports the production team with the execution of lifestyle-driven branded productions. This role is highly hands-on and field-based, assisting with set builds, event logistics, assets, vendors, event staffing, and on-site operations before, during, and after live events.
PAs work closely with the Executive Producer and core production team, supporting both pre-production preparation and in-market execution of VIP & consumer events. Candidates with consumer-facing promotional or Brand Ambassador (BA) experience may also be asked to support live events in a BA capacity, in addition to core production responsibilities.
This position is ideal for adaptable, detail-oriented team members who thrive in fast-paced environments and are looking to grow within experiential marketing, commercial production, and lifestyle events.
Key Responsibilities
Support Executive Producer and production team to translate creative vision into a fully executable production, and live-event plan.
While onsite for productions, assist the production team with tracking schedules, logistics, and on-site readiness to ensure seamless execution of VIP receptions and registration-based consumer events.
Pre-Production & Load-In Support
Responsibilities may include:
Production Documents & Systems Tracking
Follow complex production timelines, run-of-shows, call sheets, and crew schedules
Self-track assigned milestones and assist the production team in keeping execution on schedule
Asset & Shipment Tracking
Assist with logistics for high-volume shipments, deliveries, and asset manifests
Sourcing & Onsite Logistics
Support coordination and pickup of sourced items from local retail locations for staging and set-dress
Load-in & Set-up Coordination
Assist production and labor crews with load-in and setup
Support placement of assets within the event footprint
Assist with sourcing and setup of interior/exterior equipment, décor, activation accessories, furniture, displays, and interactive elements
Onsite Production & Event Execution
Responsibilities may include:
Assist with execution of VIP receptions and consumer-facing events at a staged production house or venue
Support production team in managing overall event operations, which may include:
Brand Ambassadors
Guest check-in teams
Catering staff
Labor teams and support vendors
Conduct regular staff and footprint check-ins to address needs, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, organized environment
Ensure all assets and interactive elements remain functional and presentation-ready
Support real-time troubleshooting, including weather impacts, schedule shifts, or last-minute changes
Uphold brand standards, safety protocols, and a positive, collaborative on-site environment
Post-Event Footprint Management
Responsibilities may include include:
Assist production team with restoring the venue/property to its contractually required condition
Support load-out requirements, waste disposal, and full property reset
Assist with vendor strike logistics, including:
Assets & Shipments: Support outbound shipment of all items (large and small) to final destinations
Rentals: Pack rental furniture for vendor pickup
Catering & Craft Services: Assist with breakdown, disposal, and kitchen reset
Cleaning Teams: Support oversight of cleaning crews returning the property to original condition
Support post-event handoff and wrap documentation as needed (asset tracking, notes, deliverables coordination)
Flexibility & Live Event Reality
The responsibilities outlined above represent the core expectations of this role. Additional tasks may arise prior to or during on-site execution. Live events require adaptability, collaboration, and a solution-oriented mindset—we value team members who can pivot with professionalism and keep the guest experience seamless, even when curveballs arise.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3+ years experience in event production, commercial production, or branded content shoots
Experience supporting lifestyle or unscripted productions (home, food, travel, wellness, retail, or consumer brands) a plus!
Strong familiarity with local market you are based in; local vendor knowledge preferred
Strong understanding of production logistics, timelines, and vendor coordination
Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Food Handler’s Certification a plus
Clear background check and I-9 verification required
Drug testing may be required upon hiring and throughout the contract

Salary & Benefits:
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Final salary will be determined based on qualifications and scope following the interview process.
