Event Sales Representative – Rose Squared Fine Craft Show Chester, New Jersey | Fall 2026 Paid Training Included Laura's Raw Honey is a third-generation family beekeeping business looking for an energetic, outgoing, and dependable Sales Representative to represent our company at the Rose Squared Fine Craft Show in Chester, New Jersey. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, loves artisan products, and wants to earn excellent pay while working some of the best craft festivals in the Northeast. This position also offers future opportunities at festivals throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Paid Training Before working independently, you'll spend one full paid training day with Laura, the owner of Laura's Raw Honey, at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, NY (August 25–30, 2026). During your training you'll work side-by-side with Laura and learn: * Our complete product line * How to sell premium raw honey * Sampling procedures * Customer interaction * How to maximize sales * Square credit card processing * Inventory procedures * Booth setup and breakdown * Health department standards * Everything you need to confidently run your own booth Training is paid at $25.00 per hour. Please note: * Transportation to and from the training day is your responsibility. * Hotel accommodations are not provided for training. * Once you're assigned to work festivals independently, Laura's Raw Honey provides a prepaid fuel card for each event and hotel accommodations when an event is more than 90 minutes from your home. Compensation You'll earn the greater of: $25.00 per hour 20% of your gross event sales Paid every Friday as a 1099 Independent Contractor. We Provide Once you're working events independently, Laura's Raw Honey provides: * One prepaid fuel card for each assigned event * Hotel accommodations (when events are more than 90 minutes from your home) * Hotels booked and paid for by Laura's Raw Honey * Booth * Products * Tent * Tables * Displays * Samples * Decorations * Ongoing support Responsibilities You'll be responsible for: * Picking up booth inventory from our storage unit * Transporting the booth to the event * Setting up and breaking down the display * Selling premium raw honey and beeswax products * Greeting every customer * Offering samples * Processing Square transactions * Recording cash sales accurately * Completing inventory counts before and after each event * Returning booth equipment to storage We're Looking For Someone Who * Loves talking with people * Has an outgoing personality * Enjoys sales * Is dependable and punctual * Has a positive attitude * Works well independently * Pays attention to detail * Wants recurring weekend work Previous experience in festivals, craft shows, farmers markets, specialty food, retail sales, or trade shows is highly preferred—but personality and enthusiasm matter just as much. Vehicle Requirements Applicants must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting: * Approximately 40 cases of honey * 10' x 10' canopy * Two folding tables * Displays * Decorations * Sampling supplies (We've successfully transported a complete booth setup in a Toyota Prius with the rear seats folded down.) Professional Expectations While representing Laura's Raw Honey, representatives are expected to: * Smile and greet every customer * Stay engaged throughout the event * Keep the booth clean and organized * Offer samples * Learn our products and family beekeeping story * Deliver outstanding customer service Personal phone use during show hours is not permitted except for Square transactions, business communication, or emergencies. Smoking, vaping, alcohol, or drug use while working is strictly prohibited.
