Laura’s Raw Honey is looking for a reliable, outgoing Product Specialist to represent our brand, offer samples, and drive sales at the WV Fishing, Hunting, and Outdoor expo. This is a hands-on sales role for someone confident speaking with the public and motivated by results. Event Schedule: Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM Sunday 9 AM - 4 PM Pay is $20 per hour or 20% of total sales for a new team member, depending on agreement. With experience and strong performance, pay can increase over time. You will be personally trained by the owner over Google Docs and Zoom onboarding on product knowledge, the brand story, customer interaction, sales techniques, and how to process payments using Square. This position does not involve cash handling. Responsibilities include picking up honey products and display materials at our storage unit in Washington DC, transporting them to the event, and setting up the booth independently. You will professionally represent Laura’s Raw Honey, offer samples, engage customers, share the brand story, and focus on actively selling products. All transactions must be processed through Square. You will work the booth Saturday and Sunday and return all products and equipment to the storage unit after the show is over. Applicants must have strong sales experience and excellent customer service skills. You should have a friendly, confident, and professional personality and be comfortable approaching customers and closing sales. Reliable transportation is required, along with the ability to lift and set up booth materials. You must be dependable and punctual. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, and you are responsible for your own travel costs such as gas and/or parking.
