Laura's Raw Honey

I am looking for an outgoing, reliable, and sales-driven individual to sample and sell my honey at the Wilkes Barre Cherry Blossom Festival! Location: downtown Wilkes-Barre Date and Hours: Saturday 11am-7pm, Sunday 11am-5pm Pay is $20 per hour. You must be available prior to the event to meet me in Benton, PA to pick up inventory and bring it to the show for setup. You will be responsible for setting up the booth, running sales during event hours, and packing everything up at the end of the day and returning all items back to me in Benton. Responsibilities include offering samples and educating customers on different honey varieties, maintaining an engaging and welcoming presence, processing all sales (credit card, Apple Pay, and no cash is accepted) through Square, and tracking inventory before, during, and after the show. The ideal candidate is extremely outgoing, has strong sales skills, is reliable and trustworthy, and is comfortable working independently. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a busy booth on your own. This is a 1099 contractor position, and you will be running the booth independently. You must remain at the booth during all show hours, aside from brief breaks. No sitting is allowed; you must stand and actively engage with customers throughout the event. Alcohol, vaping, and smoking are not permitted during the event. Dress code is nice pants or shorts or nice jeans with a belt. No graphic t-shirts or sweatpants. Please bring your own lunch and water and plan to eat during slower periods. A strong focus on customer experience is required at all times. This is a fast-paced and engaging opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, sampling, and interacting with people throughout the day. Please message me directly if you are interested.
