Makai is now booking a Lead / Market Manager for a Fun Guerrilla Marketing Campaign – Tampa / St. Petersburg, FL ! We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Lead / Market Manager to support a fun and fast-paced guerrilla marketing program promoting natural products in the . Program Overview: This campaign runs from July 7 – August 11 and includes two guerrilla marketing events per week. *Wednesday, July 17 is a set date — you must be available. In addition to these guerrilla activations, there will be two scheduled/planned events during the campaign period (dates/events TBD). While some details are still being finalized, the program is launching soon — we're actively looking to lock in the right lead for the Tampa / St. Pete market. As the Lead / Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact on-site, working closely alongside 3 brand ambassadors to distribute samples and coupons, manage logistics, and keep everything running smoothly. You must also be able to set up and be the point of contact for the two scheduled/planned events. Rate: $30/hour (Independent Contractor) Location: Tampa / St. Petersburg, FL Attire: Branded shirt (provided), clean, neutral-colored closed-toe sneakers Key Responsibilities: Pick up product from a refrigerated warehouse facility and transport to events Drive and operate a refrigerated box truck or van Assist with setup, stocking, restocking, and breakdown Maintain all program assets and giveaways Submit a recap report and photos after each activation Recycle/dispose of packaging and manage materials Engage the public and support brand ambassadors Serve as the main on-site contact and communicate with our internal team Requirements: Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. Must have experience driving box trucks / refrigerated box trucks or vans Excellent communication skills — you will be our main on-site contact Good knowledge of the Tampa / St. Petersburg area — know your locations and local events well Experience with guerrilla marketing campaigns preferred Comfortable with physical tasks like setup, breakdown, and restocking No personal vehicle requirement — vehicle provided is a refrigerated box truck/van No need to store product — it will be housed at a refrigerated facility Able to manage giveaways, branded assets, and event materials Must be organized, reliable, and communicative Team player, proactive, and a problem solver Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors Event, promo, or logistics experience preferred To apply: Email Rebecca.G@makaiinc.com with the subject line: “Manager – Tampa / St. Petersburg, FL” Please include: Full name and contact info Recent photo Bio or resume Relevant experience (sampling, logistics, refrigerated truck/van driving, setup/breakdown) What is your experience with guerrilla marketing campaigns?
