This is a flexible program, and the time commitment will vary based on campus opportunities, activities and program needs. ### 📣 WHAT YOU’LL DO The role will primarily focus on **individualized product sampling and brand awareness** on and around the UCSD community — but this isn't a cookie-cutter Brand Ambassador role. We're looking for someone who knows their school, is connected and wants to really **take ownership of their campus**. You'll: * Connect with fellow students and introduce them to the product in a **fun, authentic way** * Identify the **best opportunities, hot spots, days and times** to reach students * Stay in the know about **what’s happening and trending at UCSD** * Keep an eye out for **events, activities, clubs, organizations, sports and other opportunities** * Help identify opportunities for **events, tabling and sampling**, where applicable * Bring your own **creative ideas** for building awareness and driving buzz * Help spread the word through your **campus connections and social media**, when applicable * Take **initiative and ownership** of your campus * Share feedback on what you're seeing, what students are responding to and what you think we should try next * Collaborate with the **Makai team and other Campus Brand Ambassadors** * Join **weekly paid team calls** to share ideas, feedback, updates and upcoming opportunities ### 🌟 WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR You might be a great fit if you: * Are a **current UC San Diego student** * Are **outgoing, social and love meeting new people** * Are highly social, well-connected and **“in the know” about what’s happening at UCSD** * Have great energy and can easily start conversations * Are involved with **clubs, organizations, athletics, Greek life, student activities or other areas of campus life** * Are **creative, full of ideas and excited to bring them to the table** * Are a self-starter who can **take initiative, take ownership and make things happen** * Are dependable and follow through * Can work confidently **independently AND as part of a team** * Are great at communicating, staying connected and collaborating **Brand Ambassador, Campus Ambassador, RA, student leader, orientation leader, peer mentor, social media/content creator or influencer, event or promotional marketing experience is a PLUS — but not required!** We're also excited to hear from students who simply have the **personality, campus connections, creativity and drive to make an impact.** 📦 **All product is provided!** Shipping, drop-off or pickup can be coordinated based on what works best. **Transportation and the ability to receive shipments are not required.** ### 📅 PROGRAM TIMING **Start:** Approximately mid-to-late September **Program:** Throughout the Fall **Start date and schedule are flexible** based on campus timing, opportunities and availability. ### 📩 HOW TO APPLY **Please email all information below to be considered:** 📧 **[rebecca.g@makaiinc.com](mailto:rebecca.g@makaiinc.com)** **Subject:** Campus Brand Ambassador – UCSD – [Your Name] Please include: * **Name & contact information** * **Year in school** * Whether you live **on or off campus** * Your **resume and/or short bio** * Any relevant Brand Ambassador, promotional marketing, event, social media/content creation, influencing or similar experience * Your **campus involvement, activities, connections or social network** * Any additional languages you speak * A few sentences about **why you'd be a great fit** 🚀 **Earn extra money.
