Logistics Team Lead - Houston, Texas Market Makai is hiring a Logistics Team Lead for the Houston, Texas Market Roadshows! This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team and ensure smooth setup and breakdown of event materials at various retail locations. Rate: $275 per day (Independent Contractor) When / Where: Dates: February 19th through July 6th (Specific Dates Below) Shifts: Store closing (exact times TBD) Locations: Various club stores in Humble, Willowbrook, Jersey Village, Memorial, Katy, Richmond, Sugarland, Galleria, Pearland, Friendswood, and surrounding areas What We’re Looking For: Experience with event setup and breakdown (preference for experience driving a sprinter van or box truck) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable, self-motivated, and strong communicator Must pass a background check and MVR Available for all dates (if unavailable for any, please specify which) Must have clean driving record Strong communication skills with team and Makai Quick learner, team player, and can-do attitude Must be able to drive and park a sprinter van or box truck Ability to fill out a checklist and take required photos at the event Key Responsibilities: Work alongside a Logistics Support Assistant to manage setup and breakdown. Ensure all materials are set up according to specifications. Oversee breakdown of event materials and ensure everything is packed for transport. Take and submit required photos for event documentation. Communicate effectively with team members and Makai staff.
