Makai is hiring 1-2 experienced Product Specialists for the Southern California Market Roadshows! This is a fantastic opportunity to represent top brands, engage with customers, and create excitement for products. Rate: Product Specialist: $30 per hour (Independent Contractor) When / Where: Dates: Thursday – Sunday, February 20th through July 6th Shifts: All Store Hours (exact times TBD) Locations: Various club stores in Torrance, Gardena, Fountain Valley, Long Beach, Fullerton, La Habra, Chino, Ontario, Glendora, and Santa Clarita (specific locations will be provided upon confirmation) Training: Training will be provided before the roadshow begins. Details will be shared upon confirmation. What We’re Looking For: Motivated and driven individuals who are passionate about representing brands and engaging with customers. Experience working long shifts and independently. Ability to engage customers and encourage them to scan a QR code for more information. Strong communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality. Must have relevant experience in one or more of the following: Product Specialist or Brand Ambassador roles Sales or sales-related positions (Please specify your related experience) Customer engagement, product promotion, or event marketing Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Passion for educating customers about products and creating excitement. Reliable transportation to and from event locations (Please confirm if you have reliable transportation). Must be eligible to work in the US. Preferred: Availability for all Thursdays through Sundays from February 20th to July 6th. If unavailable for specific dates, let us know. What You’ll Be Doing: Representing and promoting products at various club store locations. Engaging with customers, answering questions, and providing product information. Encouraging customers to scan a QR code for more details or special offers. Distributing premiums to engaged customers. Creating a fun and engaging experience for customers.
