**MASCOT PERFORMERS — Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, TN)** **TRAVEL PAY & HOTEL COVERED** Hiring Company: Nomadic Genius Event Dates: Wednesday, September 16 – Saturday, September 19, 2026 Call Times: TBD — approximately 6–8 hours per day, with scheduled breaks throughout the day Location: Bristol Motor Speedway, Bristol, TN 37620 Pay: $40/hour Role: Mascot Performer — “Trashquatch” or “Rocco,” representing TDOT’s Nobody Trashes Tennessee **What you’ll do:** * Perform as either Trashquatch or Rocco at Bristol Motor Speedway during the race event * Work alongside another mascot performer and an on-site handler * Interact with race fans and attendees in a fun, energetic, family-friendly way * Pose for photos, wave, high-five, and help create memorable moments with attendees * Remain in character whenever you are in costume * Follow direction from our on-site handler and event staff * Protect character integrity, including no speaking while in costume * Take scheduled breaks throughout the day to cool down, hydrate, and rest **What we’re looking for:** * Prior mascot or character performance experience preferred * Excellent stamina and comfortable performing in a full mascot costume * Comfortable working in a costume with limited vision and increased heat * Able to move safely while in costume * Dependable, punctual, and available for all scheduled event days * Professional, upbeat attitude and ability to take direction * Must enjoy interacting with people and bringing lots of energy to a large race-day crowd **Costume Fit:** Please include your height and general build in your email so we can determine the best fit for the Trashquatch or Rocco costume. **What to Bring:** Black athletic base layer, moisture-wicking top and leggings/shorts, closed-toe athletic shoes, and a refillable water bottle or camel back. **TRAVEL & HOTEL:** Travel pay and hotel accommodations will be covered.
