NOW HIRING: USHERS/MERCHANDISE LEAD – SAN FRANCISCO Production: The Empire Strips Back: A Burlesque Parody Location: Victoria Theatre, San Francisco, CA Run: October 15 – November 8, 2026 Pay: Ushers: $22/hour, Merch Lead: $25/hour, paid weekly The Empire Is Landing in San Francisco. The Empire Strips Back is bringing its wildly entertaining burlesque parody to the Victoria Theatre, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable ushers to join our Front of House team. We need people who can keep a busy house moving, make guests feel welcome, and stay calm when several things inevitably decide to happen at exactly the same time. What You’ll Be Doing * Welcoming guests, scanning tickets, and assisting with entry * Helping guests find their seats and coordinating late seating * Assisting guests with accessibility needs * Monitoring assigned sections and keeping aisles and exits clear * Communicating and enforcing house policies professionally * Bringing guest concerns or safety issues to the FOH Manager * Assisting with house setup, reset, and closing duties * Working with the FOH team to create a smooth, safe, and enjoyable guest experience Schedule Up to 6 performances per week, Wednesday through Sunday. Evening and weekend availability is required. Shift assignments and call times will be confirmed by the FOH Manager. Schedule is subject to change based on the production’s performance calendar. We’re Looking For Friendly, dependable team players with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a sense of humor. Experience in theater, live events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus. You should be comfortable working with crowds, following directions, and staying attentive throughout a performance.
