Position: Assistant Tour Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Tour Start: July - October
Pay Rate: $300/day
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Tour Manager to help oversee a client tour - a Illinois + Wisconsin-based activation featuring a food truck and a food trailer. This role involves managing event logistics and coordinating activations. Events will be scheduled at least one month in advance, with activations lasting either one or three days. All travel expenses will be paid. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced with event management, and comfortable driving larger vehicles.
Responsibilities
Oversee the execution of activations across Chicago and Milwaukee
Manage event logistics, including set-up, breakdown, and vehicle transportation
Drive and operate both the food truck and food trailer
Ensure smooth event flow, staff coordination, and adherence to brand standards
Work closely with the event team and provide regular updates to program management
Requirements
Must be based in Chicago, IL
Previous tour management or event production experience preferred
Comfortable driving a food truck and trailer
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, with advance scheduling provided
