Promo Social is seeking energetic, professional, and reliable Mascot Handlers to support official FIFA mascot performers including Clutch the Eagle (USA), Maple the Moose (Canada), and Zayu the Jaguar (Mexico) during upcoming FIFA World Cup programming and related fan, hospitality, VIP, and sporting events across North America. We are currently looking to hire experienced Handlers in your local area for upcoming FIFA activations and appearances. Programming is expected to run from June 10th through July 19th. Handlers play a critical role in supporting mascot performers, ensuring safe movement throughout event environments, managing guest interactions, and helping deliver memorable fan experiences at high-profile FIFA activations and appearances. Responsibilities • Guide mascot performers safely through crowds and event spaces • Assist with navigation, crowd control, and guest interactions • Help coordinate photo opportunities and fan engagement • Support costume setup, performer breaks, hydration, and transitions between appearances • Communicate with Event Managers and staff to ensure smooth execution onsite • Maintain professionalism and awareness in fast-paced event environments Requirements • Friendly, proactive, and professional demeanor • Comfortable working in busy, high-energy event settings • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Reliable, punctual, and guest-focused • Ability to remain attentive and assist performers throughout long event shifts • Must be available for all game-day shifts in your market Attire Requirements • Black pants • Event-provided shirt • Adidas or unbranded tennis shoes only (no visible competitor logos) Scheduling & Availability • Due to client scheduling needs, candidates who are available for all required event dates, rehearsals, and shifts will receive priority consideration • If availability is limited, then you can be considered for a back-up position • Please reference the FIFA events calendar for all game-day events in your market Payment • Day Rate: $275 (10/hr shift per game-day event) • Daily Travel Allowance: $50
