Dandy Activation – Culinary Assistant Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Dates: October 26–30, 2026 Estimated Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Pay Rate: $350/day Role: Culinary Assistant About the Activation We are looking for a reliable and experienced Culinary Assistant to support an upcoming Dandy activation. Responsibilities * Take direction from the Culinary Lead on food preparation, including tacos and sides * Assist with food preparation and plating * Help with organizing and prepping ingredients * Comfortably use a knife for food preparation * Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area * Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines * Assist the culinary team with general event needs * Help with setup and breakdown as needed * Travel between approximately 3 locations per day Required Skills * Valid Food Handler’s Certificate required * Previous food preparation experience required * Considerable culinary background preferred * Experience with food plating preferred * Comfortable and experienced using a knife for food prep * Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices * Must have a reliable vehicle to travel between locations * Flexible schedule, as locations may occasionally change or cancel; all locations will be within a reasonable distance from the current location * Reliable, punctual, and professional * Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment * Able to stand for extended periods and assist with physical event tasks
