R2 Message is seeking U.S. citizens age 18 or older for flexible, seasonal community outreach work in Chicago. Community Outreach Representatives will collect signatures from registered Chicago voters on petition sheets for candidates seeking access to the ballot for the February 23, 2027 Municipal General Election. This position is commonly known as a petition circulator or circulator. FLEXIBLE WORK; NO HOURLY SCHEDULE OR HOURS REQUIREMENT. The work is flexible and unscheduled. Representatives choose when and where they work, with an emphasis on conducting outreach at community events and other public locations. R2 Message provides lists of dozens of community events as well as open-access locations like grocery stores and pharmacies to supplement event petitioning. PAY RATE IS NOT HOURLY BUT ESTIMATED. Representatives will be compensated at $3.50 per Completed Petition Line Representatives collect. Representatives will have two (2) petitions that can be collected from City of Chicago voters all over the City, paying $3.50/completed petition line. One voter can sign both petition sheets, so that means $7.00 from one transaction if the voter signs both. Payment is made within five (5) business days of submitting Petition Sheets. Petition sheets are reviewed to determine whether a substantial portion of the signatures meet the applicable requirements, including whether the signatures are genuine and belong to voters registered at the addresses provided. Payment is made by physical check, PayPal, or Zelle.
